The Role
The Programming Intern must have an aptitude for computer science and a track record of success in academic programmes. A willingness to take initiative and pitch in wherever he/she is needed in the programming department while learning best practices in the industry.
The Tasks
- Help the existing programming team with planning and executing programming objectives
- Observe company practices and follow directions while exercising creativity in programming and software development
- Convert the requirements of project plans into proficient code
- Analyze requirements to identify optimal execution strategies
- Assist senior programmers in their work duties
- Maintain a positive, teachable attitude throughout the internship
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
Entry Requirements
- University-level programming coursework or comparable coding qualification
- Currently seeking education in programming
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines
