The Role
The Motion Graphics Designer works with animation, audio, and visual effects to create moving content and graphics for various media, such as video, the Internet, and film. The Motion Graphics Designer works with the creative team to bring graphics to life, using a strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leave them wanting more.
The Tasks
- Create visually stunning video assets and content
- Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic projects/campaigns
- Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
- Create and deliver motion graphics in various media, including web, mobile and video
- Assist in designing and creating storyboards
- Collaborate with Creative Directors and other colleagues to best support media objectives
- Take initiative on campaigns/projects to deliver new and innovative solutions
- Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
Entry Requirements
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe PremierePro, Apple Final Cut Pro, After Effects or other suitable software
- Proficiency with camera equipment and lighting
- Strong examples of work
- Great attitude, curious and eager to learn
- Can articulate ideas both visually and verbally
- Able to work under own discretion and initiative
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
