The Role:
The Graphic Designer works with the Lead Designer and Creative Director to prepare visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts for digital media and print.
The Tasks:
- Understanding of our clients’ branding and positioning to help formulate concepts
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
- Plans concept by studying brand positioning, target market, goal of art piece, information and materials
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
- Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and digital channels
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Completes projects by coordinating with account managers and other creative colleagues
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Entry Requirements:
- At least four years of experience working as a Graphic Designer
- In-depth working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photo Shop and/or InDesign
- In-depth working knowledge of power point or Keynote and Microsoft word
