Creative Director

The Role:

The Creative Director takes the lead in conceptualising digital media and traditional advertising and marketing campaigns, while overseeing the creative team and their processes.

The Tasks:

  • Hire, inspire and manage creative talent to produce leading edge and disruptive campaigns
  • Maintain a high quality of creative and production standards
  • Deliver strategic interactive digital media and some traditional communications solutions that help our clients attain their marketing and communications objectives
  • Listen, ask, hear, prioritise and translate client situations, marketing goals and information into strategic brand concepts, voice, messages and rationales
  • Collaborate and contribute to the creative process as a leader of a creative team
  • Co-lead the unified creative/account management process in order to execute on client projects
  • Write and present cohesive and persuasive rationales for campaign approaches
  • Quality control, including reviewing, measuring and evaluating staff
  • Research the latest digital media trends and adopt those that are relevant to the company and its clients

Entry Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Creative Director, Creative Associate or similar position managing a creative team
  • Excellent knowledge of digital and traditional media
  • An understanding of the intended form and function of digital applications such as web sites and mobile applications
  • Thorough understanding of on and offline marcom elements production
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
